An important update from us.

An Update from us on COVID-19

Good afternoon,

Just a short note to share with you that our most recent testing of
staff and residents revealed 2 new positive cases among staff.
Both have been notified and are quarantining at home.
These new cases do not compromise our ability to have visitation continue,
so this is good news.

Additional good news is that the RI Department of Health came out
with some new guidance at the end of last week and we are in the process of
revising our protocols to coincide with this. While visitation remains
the same, our testing frequency will be changing. For all residents that
are fully vaccinated, routine testing is no longer required. For
unvaccinated residents, testing will be every 14 days. For staff that
are fully vaccinated, we will be testing at least once per month, and
for those that are unvaccinated, testing will be every 14 days. This
testing schedule coincides with CDC recommendations based on county
positivity rates. For St. Clare, this schedule will begin once our 2 new
cases have cleared and we have no new cases for at least two weeks.

Lastly, we will be reporting vaccination rates among personnel.
This will be posted monthly to our website as well as
posted internally This will begin at the end of this month.

We are getting through this pandemic, with luck, diligence and
determination, we will continue to be successful. Please make sure if
you have any questions that you reach out to us!

Be well,

Mary Beth Daigneault
