An Update from us on COVID-19
Good afternoon,
I hope that your Christmas was joyful even though we are still in the
midst of this pandemic. I need to share with you that our surveillance
testing results are still coming in and as of this writing we have
identified several new cases amongst the staff, effecting all
departments. Our numbers are now:
Current positive: 11 ( 3 residents, 8 employees)
Suspected positive: 0
Total Cumulative cases: 23
We have 32 tests that are still pending, and I don’t expect we will see
these finished until Monday.
Fortunately, none of the newly identified individuals were symptomatic
at the time of testing. They have all been notified and are isolating at
home.
Due to this increase, we have decided to close all visitation, except
compassionate care visits, until further notice. I know this is terribly
disappointing for you. We will try to schedule facetime visits as much
as possible.
I will write again when the rest of our results come in.
